IHHA Queen
The
IHHA Queen for 2010 is 16 year old Alison Snow, daughter of Andrew Snow from Shelbyville,
IN. She is very active in her 4-H Horseman Club and a member of the Shelbyville High
School Concert Band. Alison is the proud owner of a 2 year old Haflinger filly (Marietta's
Mandy) she received at the Indiana State Fair as the 2009 winner of the IHHA 4-H Award
Program. Alison will be representing the IHHA at several Haflinger shows and events
during the year. After high school her plans are to attend Purdue University pursuring
a career in veterinary science.

2009 IHHA Purdue 4-H Award Program
On Saturday night August 22 the IHHA Purdue
4-H Haflinger Award Program, now completing its fifth year, awarded a Haflinger filly
during ceremonies in the Pepsi Collesium. This years winner is Alison Snow
from Shelbyville. The filly, Marietta's Mandy was donated by the Gerald
& Darla Schlabach Family of Maple Grove Haflingers in Shipshewanna.

Directors
The Indiana Haflinger Horse Association
Board of Directors is structured with twelve members who serve a term of three
years. A Director may run for as many terms as they choose. Four
Director positions are up for election each year. Directors are required
to attend seventy-five percent of all meetings and chair a committee set up by the
President. Officers of the Board who serve a one year term are selected and
voted on by the Directors each January after the annual membership meeting.
