9 Y/O AHR Classified Mare
Kate is the first foal we produced and arguably one of the prettiest. We have shown Kate extensively. She has always shown very well and placed second in her class at the Indiana State Fair as a four year old. Our daughters have shown her in 4-H several times. She has been in a team hitch in parades many times. We drive her on the road in traffic and to town frequently. She hitches single, double, and has been worked three abreast on the rake and speader. She is up in the bit and moves out nicely.
She is now working under saddle and doing very well. We have been using her on trail rides.
We had Kate classified as a three year old. She scored eights on both correctness of movement, and head. She is a very pretty and feminine mare. Kate measures 57".

Kelly is a 4 year old mare. We have been using her as a hitch horse. She has loads of action. She placed well in cart at the shows last year. A boy new to driving drove her in the youth cart class at the Indiana State Fair last year and placed. She has an outstanding disposition. Our daughters crawl all over her in the barn. She drives single and double. Kelly has been on the hay rake, driven in traffic, and in town. She has many road miles. She is quiet on the road.
Kelly is working under saddle and being used for trail riding. A good kids horse, trail horse, and hitch horse.

Lila is a two year old filly. Her sire was an AHR Silver Classified stallion. Her dam was the Grand Champion mare at the Indiana State Fair. Her dam goes back to the very strong C mare line of Catrin and Caro TOF.
She is very quiet like her dam. Her dam is very responsive in driving. Her dam is our repeat National Cone scurry champion winner. Lila seems to have very similiar personality traits as Caron. She is a mature minded sensible young filly.
Lila has been shown as a weanling and yearling. She handles very well, bathes, clips, loads, etc. This one has been a tough choice to let go.

Lane Haflinger tradition Caol Ila is named in honor of another
fine malt whisky. Caol Ila is distilled on the Island of Islay, West of Glasgow.
Haflingers and malt whisky, how could it get any better...
